Kumu Kanoelani, Nani and Pumehana (Alaka'i - class leaders)
The
makeup of the halau is diverse in culture, and ranges from children to
adults. Through Hula, each student will develop a strong sense of attitude, commitment, discipline, focus, humbleness, respect, responsibility and love for self and others. |
Due to the passing of Kumu Kanoelani's Beloved Mother in Law "TuTu",
the scheduled class orientation dates will be postponed until further notice.
Kumu Kanoelani and husband, Joaquin are with family in North Carolina.
We ask that you keep Kumu and her family
in your prayers during this time of sadness.
