The
makeup of the halau is diverse in culture, and ranges from toddlers to
adults.
The responsibilities of each hula dancer is commitment, dedication, discipline and respect. It is important for each student to develop a good attitude with self-respect, and love for others. Kumu's goal is to establish a sense of humbleness in all her haumana (students) and 'ohana (family). |
